As your Councillor, I understand the importance of clearly marked multi-use pathways in helping users safely and confidently navigate connections throughout the pathway network and travel across the city.
With the opening of the Hunt Club Pedestrian/Cycling Bridge in autumn 2025, residents pointed out that navigating between the Sawmill Creek Pathway and the Osgoode Link Pathway could be challenging at times, with some users inadvertently using the “No Access” maintenance strip running along Transitway to connect between the two paths.

Due to your feedback, we flagged the absence of signage to City Staff and requested that they explore wayfinding signage to facilitate clearer connections and easier navigation. After reviewing, they have now confirmed that wayfinding signage is on its way for the surrounding area.
Signage will be similar to the format shown below. Although a firm installation date has not yet been established, City Staff are hopeful that the wayfinding signage can be installed later this summer.
