We recognize the importance of accessibility at the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Bank Street. To address concerns at this location, the City is implementing a temporary solution while planning for permanent improvements.
In the short term, Roads and Parking Services (RPS) will shave each side of the raised median to create a temporary ramp, improving accessibility. Traffic Services (TS) is currently marking areas with traffic equipment to guide the construction process and ensure it proceeds smoothly. Once these markings are complete, RPS will begin work on the temporary ramp.
Looking ahead, this intersection will be reassessed in the spring. At that time, RPS will collaborate with TS to lower the median and adjust the existing infrastructure to be level with the road.
