The City of Ottawa will be resurfacing sections of Walkley Road as part of routine infrastructure maintenance to extend the lifespan of our roads.
📅 When: Work is scheduled between May and October 2025. Weekend work is expected.

Walkley Road from 100m west of Heron Road to Audrey Avenue

Walkley Road from 80m east of Banton Street to 130m east of Banton Street

Walkley Road from the east limit of Highway 417 overpass to Ramsayville Road
🚧 What to Expect:

Lane closures and traffic delays – flagging operations will be in place.

On-street parking restrictions – impacted residents will be notified 24 hours in advance.

Construction noise – work will take place during daytime and nighttime hours.

Access maintained – pedestrian, cyclist, and local business access will remain open.
Irrigation Systems:
If you have a private irrigation system, please ensure it is disconnected or relocated before work begins to prevent potential damage.
