I am happy to announce that a section of Riverside Drive extending 215 metres south of Hunt Club to River Road is slated for resurfacing. Alongside milling and paving work with iron adjustments, the project will include the repair of curbs and sidewalks where required.
High-friction asphalt will also be implemented along the right-turn lane from Riverside/Limebank onto River Road. This will help to address the issue of vehicles making right turns at high speeds onto River Road from Riverside and frequently striking the median, as reported to my office.
