Resurfacing and Sidewalk Project- Hunt Club Road

Jun 25, 2026 | News Updates

As your Councillor, I continue to advocate for investments that keep our roads safe, accessible, and in good condition for residents, businesses, and commuters. I’m pleased to share that Hunt Club Road, between Cahill Drive and Pike Street, has been identified for resurfacing as part of the City of Ottawa’s 2026 road renewal program.

Beginning the week of July 6 and continuing through September, crews will carry out roadway resurfacing along with selective repairs to sidewalks and curbs, upgrades to asphalt sidewalks where applicable, installation of tactile walking surface indicators (TWSIs), pavement marking renewal, traffic loop installations, and other related infrastructure improvements. Residents may notice increased noise and vibration during certain phases of construction.

Work will take place during both daytime and overnight hours, as required, to help complete the project efficiently while minimizing impacts to traffic. Hunt Club Road will remain open throughout construction, and no lane closures will occur during peak travel periods between 7:00–9:00 a.m. and 3:30–6:00 p.m.

These improvements are part of the City’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and extending the life of our transportation infrastructure while improving accessibility and safety for all road users.
