Project Overview
The drainage improvement project is designed to enhance stormwater management, reduce flooding risks, and protect the surrounding neighbourhood during heavy rainfall events. This critical infrastructure work will help ensure Kemp Park remains a safe and enjoyable space for the community year-round, addressing long-standing resident concerns about flooding and water management issues.
Current Status
Phase: Construction began June 2026
Progress Update: Project planning is underway with a dedicated project website established to keep residents informed throughout the process.
Timeline: A public information was session held on Oct 27th, 2025. An FAQ documents for the Kemp Park project has been finalized and added to the project webpage.
What’s Next
Upcoming Actions: Construction to begin mid July and completed by Summer 2027. Notice details were hand delivered to residents June 25th, 2026.
