I’m pleased to share that two additional parks in our ward have been selected for the City’s 2026 3-Stream Park Waste Diversion Program.
This means that Elizabeth Manley Park and Aladdin Park will be receiving 3-stream waste stations (garbage, recycling, and organics), helping make it easier for residents to sort waste properly while enjoying our local green spaces.
We were able to select two new parks this year, bringing our ward total to four participating parks:

2023: Fawn Meadows Park

2024: Pushman Park

2026: Elizabeth Manley Park and Aladdin Park
Solid Waste Services will be developing an installation schedule, with implementation targeted to begin as soon as possible in the Spring. Installation dates and any additional updates and information about the Parks Waste Diversion Program will be shared closer to the spring.
Expanding this program helps keep our parks clean and supports our citywide waste diversion goals. Thank you to everyone who continues to care for our shared spaces.
