I’m excited to share that the Esson Place playground renewal is moving forward this year!
The new playground has been shaped by input from the community. Through a door-to-door consultation, residents shared the play features they were hoping to see, with swings, a climbing structure, and a slide topping the list. The final design reflects that feedback while also incorporating accessible features so more children of all abilities can enjoy the space.
The project team has worked closely with a playground equipment supplier to develop a design that meets the community’s priorities, and I’m pleased to share the conceptual layout and renderings below. They provide a preview of the new play structure and the exciting features that will soon be coming to Esson Place this fall.
