I’m pleased to share that four bus stops in our ward have been selected for upgrades through OC Transpo’s 2026 Annual Bus Stop Improvement Program.
These improvements will bring each stop up to the City’s Accessibility Design Standards and OC Transpo’s current design guidelines. Depending on the location, upgrades may include new accessible landing pads, new shelters and concrete pads, or replacement of existing shelters that have reached the end of their lifespan.
Notably, a new shelter will be installed at Conroy Road and Johnston Road. This location was identified through resident feedback, and our office has been advocating for improvements at this stop. I’m glad to see this reflected in the final program.

Pending approvals and barring unforeseen circumstances, construction is anticipated to begin in Spring or early Summer 2026 and continue through Fall 2026.
