Last week, the City of Ottawa tabled its Draft 2026 Budget, outlining proposed operating and capital spending for the year, including a 3.75% tax increase.
The budget will now be debated at a series of committee meetings before coming to City Council for final approval in December. The full budget can be viewed here.
I will be hosting a South End Budget Information Session alongside my fellow south-end Councillors on Tuesday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre. Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the draft budget, and share their questions and feedback.
