As part of the City of Ottawa’s annual infrastructure maintenance program, road resurfacing work will take place on Ages Drive and Swansea Crescent beginning this June, with completion anticipated by Fall 2026.
The project will include roadway resurfacing, selective sidewalk and curb repairs, installation of tactile walking surface indicators, upgrades to bus pads, pavement marking reinstatement, and other roadway improvements designed to extend the life of the road network and enhance safety and accessibility.
Residents can expect increased noise and vibration during construction. Work may occur Monday to Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and Sundays between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., as required. Ages Drive and Swansea Crescent will remain open to traffic throughout construction.
Work will take place along Ages Drive from Swansea Crescent to Hawthorne Road, and along Swansea Crescent from approximately 40 metres west of Ages Drive to 63 metres west of Legacy Road.
The City of Ottawa has retained Tomlinson Group to complete the work.
