Beginning June 3, 2026, Hydro Ottawa will be completing underground infrastructure upgrades on Cahill Drive between Rosegarden Crescent and Southport Drive. This work is expected to continue until July 31, 2026, and is being completed ahead of the City of Ottawa’s upcoming Cahill Drive Sidewalk Renewal Project.
Residents may notice lane reductions in the area during construction to help ensure the safety of both workers and the public. Work will take place within the City’s road right-of-way.
At this time, there are no scheduled power outages associated with this project. Hydro Ottawa has advised that nearby residents and businesses will receive written notification regarding the work.
Hydro Ottawa and its contractors will work to complete the project safely and efficiently while minimizing disruptions as much as possible.
