Community safety is of the upmost importance and ensuring that we have clear, meaningful, and direct relationships with our Community Officers and East District team is critical.
Last week, I invited community service providers along with local Community Associations to join the East-District OPS team to learn more about the launch of a revitalized approach to Community Policing, as well as to learn about the new District Model. Participants also had the opportunity to provide input into the process and to share opportunities to enhance current partnerships.
