After receiving reports from community members about a safety concern near Somero Private, where vehicles were using a pedestrian and cyclist pathway as a shortcut, our office flagged it to City Staff, who worked closely with OCH to identify solutions.
Following a review, OCH agreed to install boulders to narrow access to the pathway, preventing vehicle use while still ensuring safe and accessible passage for pedestrians and cyclists. Our office has since received confirmation that the boulders were installed earlier this week.
