Project Overview
Comprehensive Park and playground renewal featuring junior and senior playground equipment designed for children ages 1.5 to 12 years old. The community-selected Option A design (chosen by 62.5% of respondents) will include new swings with accessible saucer swing, teeter totter, overhead climbers, slides and play panels. Engineered wood fiber will be installed as protective surfacing material to meet accessibility requirements, with accessible pathways connecting to both playground and swing areas.
Current Status
Phase: Community Consultation Complete – Design Development
Progress Update: Community consultation has concluded with Option A selected as the preferred park renewal plan. Project is proceeding to detailed design phase.
Timeline: Timeline to be determined; anticipated construction to start Fall 2025
