A new Site Plan Control application has been submitted for a property on Bank Street at the corner of Dazé. Based on the architectural plans currently available online, the proposed tenant will be Tim Hortons.

The application proposes to renovate the existing one-storey building (approximately 243 square metres) to accommodate a new commercial use in the form of a one-storey restaurant. A portion of the existing structure would be retained and incorporated into the new building.

The proposal includes:

  • A drive-through facility

  • 13 surface parking spaces (reduced from the current 30 spaces)

  • A redesigned drive-through lane with capacity for up to 11 vehicles

Vehicular access would continue to be provided from both Bank Street and Dazé Street.City staff will review traffic circulation, pedestrian safety, landscaping, and overall site functionality as part of the Site Plan process.
