The intersection of Hawthorne Road and Davidson Road is an unsignalized T-intersection with stop control on the Davidson approach (eastbound). The intersection meets the minimum warrants for traffic signals and as such requires an assessment of possible traffic operations solutions. The City of Ottawa has initiated this Functional Design Study to evaluate design options for upgrading the intersection. Both traffic signal and roundabout options are being considered.
